„Cultural Education Program“ (CEP) by Sibiu Ballet Theater (SBT)

Valeria Giuga, France-based artistic director, choreographer and dancer of the Labkine company is invited to be a part of CEP – a capacity building project organized by Sibiu Ballet Theatre.

A major component of the project CEP is to create space where the Sibiu Ballet Theater’s dancers can work with a number of experienced and renowned artists. The aim of the intensive program is to support the ongoing development of the TBS company by reinforcing choreographic thinking, creative processes and performance skills. The full program runs from May to November 2022 and includes a series of workshops, seminars, conferences, presentation of performance with national and international choreographers, actors, renowned ballet masters and contemporary dance companies.

At the end of September, contemporary dance workshops will be animated by Valerie Giuga, France-based artistic director, choreographer and dancer of the Labkine company. The workshops will explore some fundamentals of the Laban movement.
