Lazuz: „Baktana“ & „Lazuz“
This September will be all about circus! Regional audiences will be enjoying performances by several French companies, while company Lazuz will visit five cities with its two shows!
About performances:
Baktana is a glimpse into the encounter of two guys. One of them is a Juggler. Obsessed with his world of flying objects he is communicating by manipulating them. The other, an Acrobat, expresses himself through movement. Their encounter is far from being perfect… Tossed between misunderstandings and questions, their curiosity leads them to a non-verbal meeting opening a path for an extraordinary synergy.
Lazuz (“to move” in Hebrew) is a dynamic meeting between an Acrobat and a Juggler. There to collaborate with each other, they find the task not as easy as they thought. Dancing in between collaboration and conflict, each tries “to move” the other-one, pushing him out of his comfort zone. Sometimes playful, always exciting, often funny, this moving encounter reveals a unusual and awkward synergy.
The regional tour of the company Lazuz is supported through Teatroskop Touring & Capacity Building Grants 2021 and it is part of regional program Circus (must) SEE.
