Regional tour: Tournez avant les ruines / Cie de l’Inutile

This spring, the show „Tournez avant les ruines“ will be presented in Serbia and Greece as a part of a „Europe for citizens“ project Eye Net 2.0, which includes 15 organizations from 8 European countries.  

The show is the fruit of a collective and European work process bringing together 20 young people from each of the 8 participating countries. As it is created with, by and for youth, this project perfectly encapsulates the priorities of the French presidency of the EU.

Tournez avant les ruines is a polyphone and plural creation, conceived and created by Kate Papi from the Compagnie OBRA, Eric Vanelle from the Compagnie de l’Inutile and a group of 20 young people gathered in France. It’s a fruit of a collective work process bringing together 20 young people from each of the 8 participating countries. The essence of the project is to manage to create an original artistic format driven by these young adults, their desires, their conscious or unconscious dreams, their revolt, their intention to go beyond the walls that stand in front of their future. The aim of the project is to go after this desire and to put this young people on stage, as citizens allowed to reveal their artistic potential.
